Marta Priu: (publicist) graduated from University of Abat Oliba and is a member of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Catalonia (AIJEC). Priu's professional career is dedicated to the rapidly growing industry of communication. Throughout the years, she has worked for a variety of companies. She worked in Benecé Produccions audiovisual productions company; later she freelanced for production companies such as Group Films Latino, Ovideo, and ended up in the agency Wow! While working at Wow! she organized events for multinationals such as BP, Whirlpool, Agbar Group, Sara Lee, Unilever, etc. When she decided to get married she noticed she lacked time to organise her own wedding, so she established bcn wedding planners to provide a service for couples who want to get married but are short of time, live outside of the city, are not familiar with the production of weddings, and for anyone looking to try something new and special. Since bcn wedding planners was launched in 2006, a lot of unique and successful weddings have been planned. In 2007, Priu introduced her second company, bcn event planners (www.bcneventplanners.com), an agency dedicated to organising National and International company events. Some of her top clients included: Swarovski, Softonic, Laboratorios Menarini, Privalia, Eventoclick, Unicredit, Prudential, Bensza, Ajoint Communications... In January 2010, Priu noticed an increasing demand for the wedding and event planning industry throughout Spain. She extended her services with spain wedding planners (www.spainweddingplanners.com).
